I recently stayed at Moonfleet Villa in Chickerell and had a wonderful experience. The location of the villa is excellent, offering easy access to the coastal path and the Manor Hotel. Waking up to the beautiful views each morning was a joy, and the terrace outside was a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The interior of the villa is light and bright, with good views both upstairs and downstairs. The super king-sized bed in the master bedroom was incredibly comfortable, although the double bed in the second bedroom may be a bit small for those used to sleeping in a king-sized bed at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, and the extras like board games and a wood stove added a charming cottage feel. the location and amenities provided a fantastic stay.

Nothing that I didn't like.

Loved the sea views from the terrace, great for enjoying my G&Ts. Free parking was a bonus, saved me from any unnecessary exercise. The garden was perfect for relaxing, although I didn't do much of that myself.

Who needs a shared kitchen? I mean, I definitely wanted to cook and clean with strangers while on vacation.

Great location with a beautiful south facing garden overlooking Chesil Beach. Lovely sunsets and easy access to the coastal path. Spacious cottage with 3 bedrooms and 2 separate toilets. Fantastic views from the dining/sitting area with big picture windows. Peaceful surroundings, feels like a getaway.

As women travelling alone, we appreciated the easy access to the nearby Coastal trail for walks and the peacefulness of the location. The cottage had a fully stocked kitchen and the extra touches like board games and a wood stove added a cozy cottage feel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning. The south-facing garden overlooking the beach and sea provided breathtaking views and beautiful sunsets. I loved that the coastal path was right opposite the garden gate, making it easy to access and enjoy peaceful walks. The cottage itself was spacious with three bedrooms and two separate toilets, which was a great bonus. The dining/sitting area had large picture windows that allowed me to fully appreciate the view. Despite feeling miles away from anywhere, it was actually very convenient to reach the hotel from the main roads.

We got incredible value for our money at Moonfleet in Chickerell. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a play room that our boys absolutely loved. The views from the property were breathtaking and the location gave us easy access to the coastal path and surrounding areas. The staff treated us warmly and we felt right at home. We can't wait to book again and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of this hidden gem.

The only thing that could make the breakfast choices better would be to have a wider variety of options.

Despite some minor issues with fixtures and fittings, it wouldn't stop us from going back again. we highly recommend this place for a memorable getaway.
